Welcome to the Algebraic Expressions Builder!
Your goal is to either simplify the given expression or evaluate it for specific variable values.
Here's how to play:
- Select Difficulty: Choose your starting level (1-5) from the main screen.
- Understand the Goal: Look at the "Goal" area to see the expression you need to work with. It will tell you if you need to "Simplify" or "Evaluate".
- Build Your Expression: Drag and drop numbers, variables, and operators from the "Palette" into the "Expression Area".
- Arrange and Remove: You can drag tokens within the "Expression Area" to reorder them. Click the 'x' on any token to remove it.
- Check Your Work: Once your expression is built, click the ' Check' button.
- Score & Time: Earn points for correct answers. The faster you answer, the more time bonus you get! Watch the timer!
- Actions:
- ' Clear': Empties the expression area.
- ' Pause/Resume': Pauses the game and timer.
- ' Stop': Ends the current game session. Your stats will be saved!
- ' Skip': Skips the current challenge (with a small score penalty).
- Progress: Advance through levels by successfully solving challenges. Your highest level and score are recorded in the stats!
